How Poazz makes money
Plainly: we earn a commission on some of the links on this site. Here is exactly what that does and does not mean.
Affiliate links
Poazz earns a commission when you buy through the links on this site. It never changes the price you pay, and it never decides what we write.
Prices and availability
Prices and availability come from the retailer and can change at any time. Poazz shows a price only while we have seen it recently; the retailer's checkout is always the final word.
Editorial content
Poazz's descriptions and “why we picked it” notes are written by our editors. We do not publish reviews, star ratings or review counts we cannot verify, and we do not invent discounts.
Retailer-supplied data
Product details, images and prices are supplied by the retailer named on each product. Poazz stores them as received and marks anything we have not verified as a retailer claim.
What a commission never buys
- A place in the catalogue. Products are assessed on their own merits.
- A better description, or a kinder one.
- A discount claim. Whether a saving is Poazz-verified is decided by our own price history, not by a commercial partner.
- Placement order. “Featured” is an editorial decision.
Which links are affiliate links
Every “Buy at” button on a product page is an affiliate link, and every product page carries a disclosure that says so. The button points at our own tracked redirect, so the destination the retailer gave us is never exposed to your browser — only the retailer you are being sent to is named on the page.
We do not use affiliate links in editorial prose, and we do not put them in a position where they could be mistaken for a recommendation we did not make.
This is not financial or safety advice
We write about what a product is and why it seemed interesting. We have not tested it. Where a product has a safety, compatibility or legal consideration, that is between you and the retailer’s own documentation. If we have missed something important, tell us.
